Involved at children's school

Gina, and everyone else too!-I am involved with my 16 yoDD's school by helping at track meets. She does indoor and outdoor track and I help officiate at meets. Sometimes I am a timer, sometimes I record, sometimes I help with high jump or long jump. I ran track and cross country when I was in high school and I love attending the meets. I sometimes help at 13 yo DD's school at Book Fairs. They have parents come into the school and man the check out table. I also work part-time, but my shifts vary so I can arrange my schedule to be at the kids events. One year I taught an after school knitting class to 6, 7 and 8th graders. We meet once a week for about 8 weeks. It was a lot of fun.

Wow, Danielle, you are brave. I refuse to be a score keeper or anything like that because I just can't keep focused and I lose track. I have done pitch counting for baseball and sometimes I just add a few because I know I missed some...how many for sure is anyone's guess.
