Recipe

Classic Beef Chili

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef (10% or less)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 sweet onion, chopped
1/4 cup canned diced chilies
2 tbsp. tomato paste
Oregano sprigs for garnish

Instructions
1. In a large nonstick skillet cook beef and garlic over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up meat, until browned; drain. Add chili powder and cumin; stir to combine.
2. Combine tomatoes, beans, onion, chilies, and tomato paste in slow cooker; stir in beef mixture. Cover and cook on High until flavors are blended, 4 - 5 hours.

I think there is a way on Sparkrecipes.com to input this info and get the nutritional information...you can also have it listed as one of their recipes. I had a mac and cheese recipe from the website last night. However, in going through them, many of them are not low cal or low fat. HMMMM, not sure I understand why there are there.

I got this one from WW and there were also some that were just regular recipes. This one didn't have the nutritional info but looked very healthy. Maybe someone can figure it out for us.
