Thursday Morning Check-in

Hello Everyone!!!

Okay, I know I am not "officially" started yet but I have to say that I lost 4 pounds yesterday!!! I'm still fasting so I know this isn't really going to be my weight loss. Honestly I haven't been starving because I know that I can't eat or I will have complications with the procedure today. I think that if I just tell myself that when I start this diet that I am doing this for me and I just can't eat the way that I used to. I hope I understand! lol.

Check in with us and tell us how your day went yesterday. Was it easy, hard??? I'm leaving in 2 hours so I will check in tonight when I return. I am going to eat a very nice meal tonight since I have been starving myself but on Saturday I will make a plan.

Hey everyone----
Yesterday did not go so well, so I am starting over today.
I got some Kashi cereal and had a cup of that for breakfast with milk. I am going to try high fiber in the morning to try and fill up. I have also already had two cups of water. I am using a big cup that holds two cups worth and that seems to make it easier for me to drink more.

I was very excited this morning at the doctor's office I was down 10 pounds from the day after Christmas! Small start but very happy about it!!

Hi Everyone! Just checking in for today. I'm trying a new tactic in this weight loss thing. I read that you should eat only until satisfied, not full. You should remain a bit hungry, not starving, just a bit hungry. If you feel full, you ate too much. I had oatmeal for breakfast and a peanut butter sandwich (reduced fat) and preserves for lunch. I'm having an apple at about 2:30 or 3:00 and then off to the gym at 4:00 to walk 2-3 miles. Just getting back into the gym thing so taking it slowly. Next week I will add circut training back into my routine and cut back on the walking. I leave for Hawaii on April 7 and want to be comfortable in my bathing suit at that time. You are all doing great!!! I had a healthy lunch of a half bowl of soup and a half sandwich with water. Yummy!

I had my slimfast for breakfast, and an incredible omelet with onions, mushrooms and peppers for lunch.

Hi all,
Today I did really well, considering, it was my first day of making an effort.....I went walking for over 30 mins this morning and di alot of housework....Amazingly, I only drank, less than a glass of tea....Major accomplishment for me.

As far as eating...well...I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and @ lunch a salad and then this eve for supper I ate potatoes, veggie skallops, corn, and brussel sprouts...oh yeah and some okra.

Probablly not the best, but I am adding excercise and lots of water to my new daily routine...so I'm hoping to see some improvement.

Hello everyone,
I was evaluated at the gym today and let me tell you it was a very sad day. I have more body fat than muscle. I'm so ashamed. I am going to change those numbers in the next three weeks.

Wow you guys are doing great!

Amy, there is a cereal that I really like with "Yogurt Bites" in it. It's Kellogg's All Bran with Yogurt Bites. It's very filling and for me, I still need some sweetness in my cereal so I really like it. And it has a lot of fiber in it.

Hi Shelly, Congratulations on your weight loss! That's awesome! Are you buying yourself a cartridge?? :)

I have a ton of Nutri System food left over from a few months ago that I am going to start eating again. I just gave up on it in the fall. But it's time to start again!
